7/17/06: The manipulation continues!  Lately Elliot will ask for a “hug” when he wants us to take him out of his stroller or highchair, after which he will promptly say “I walk!” (his way of instructing us to put him down).  Once in a while we do get an actual hug, but usually it’s a trick! - Elissa
